When I first picked up a Cricut machine, I never imagined it would become the start of something so exciting.
Like many people, I've always loved fashion that's simple, comfortable and versatile—pieces you can wear every day and style in different ways. I wanted clothing that felt effortless but still had personality.
It all started when my fiancé, Tom, bought us a Cricut machine to create personalised items for our wedding. What began as a fun project quickly became a new hobby. I found myself spending hours experimenting with different materials, designs and ideas, and I loved seeing my creations come to life.
For as long as I've known Tom, he'd had one big goal: to visit 30 countries before turning 30. On his 30th birthday, we celebrated that incredible milestone with a trip to Japan—a country that will always hold a special place in our hearts because it's also where we got engaged.
Wanting to create something meaningful to remember the trip, I designed a custom hoodie just for him. It celebrated not only his achievement but also the memories we'd made together.
Seeing him wear it with pride was incredibly rewarding.
What I didn't expect was how many people would ask about it. Friends, family and even strangers complimented the design and wanted to know where they could get one. Before long, I was receiving requests to make similar pieces, and that's when everything clicked.
Maybe this could become something more.
That's how Made by Tia was born.
Today, my goal is simple: to create clothing and personalised pieces that people genuinely love to wear. Whether it's an everyday hoodie, a meaningful gift, or a design that tells your own story, I want every item to feel special.
